The expectations from society, entrepreneurs and the research community on drone services has been high for a decade. The knowledge, understanding and goals for these actors varies. Fact is that rather few services are implemented today, why is that? There is a motivation to be more efficient, minimize risks, be more sustainable and lower costs for medical services etc. this may be evident for the society as such. There is always a “but”, society may fear break in privacy, noise etc, whereas entrepreneurs like to sell services, contribute to create a market and if possible, scale up their business. The research community are happy to develop current best practices and invent new approaches for more advanced and integrated services. This panel will use visualizations to explore drone services from 3 different perspectives but also hope to create common ground for Urban Air Mobility (UAM) and Innovative Air Mobility (IAM). The panel will be interactive.
