The 44th DASC invites competitive tutorial proposals on emerging topics in aviation and aerospace. Selected tutorials will be held in person on September 14–15, 2025, at the conference venue (i.e., Montreal), with 3-hour slots available between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Tutorial Proposal Format
The proposal should concisely and clearly describe the tutorial content and objectives, not exceeding 5 pages in single space, 12-pt font, including:

  1. Title: The title of the tutorial.
  2. Overview: A brief abstract, objectives, and why the topic is important.
  3. Audience: Who the tutorial is for and why it’s timely.
  4. Presenters: Names, affiliations, and short biographies of all presenters.
  5. Topics Covered: Key technical issues the tutorial will address.
  6. Outline: A breakdown of the content with a tentative schedule.
  7. Format: Specify how the tutorial will be delivered (e.g., lecture, hands-on, or equipment training).
  8. Participant Requirements: Prerequisites for participants (e.g., knowledge or materials).
  9. Provided Materials: Resources attendees will receive (e.g., handouts or USB drives). Note: The conference provides meeting rooms and AV equipment.
  10. Duration: Tutorials are typically 3 hours (two 80-minute sessions with a 20-minute break). Explain if more time is needed.
  11. Presenter Experience: Highlight the speaker’s expertise on the topic.
  12. Previous Versions: If a similar tutorial was given at DASC, explain how this one is different.

Tutorial Proposal Submission
The tutorial proposal should be emailed directly to the professional education program chair as a single PDF file.
